Originally from Minnesota ("You betcha!"), Heidi moved to Colorado in 2014 because of her absolute love for the mountains. Since moving to the area, Heidi has established contacts with regional and local publications creating successful pitches to the media. “In this valley it’s all about relationships and referral business. Attending and hosting events that allow you to make connections is huge,” Heidi shares.
Heidi created HK Mountain Marketing to fulfill the need for small businesses in the valley to market themselves successfully while staying within a budget. Marketing can feel overwhelming to some, but Heidi makes it feel fun, easy and worthwhile. Heidi is able to prepare marketing strategies from client conversations and execute them with sleek, eye-catching marketing campaigns. Embracing the Colorado lifestyle is key! Operating out of her new home in Gypsum provides peace and inspiration. In addition to more than 14 years of experience, Heidi has extensive schooling with degrees in both visual communication and marketing. “I jump in with both feet: This is how I operate in my work life and personal life. I go full speed ahead, taking charge and hitting the ground running,” Heidi says. “And I’m loving every moment of my life here in the valley.”
